Leone and Jasmin have both written, directed, produced, performed, danced, sung, choreographed, composed, taught, and cast extensively in theatre, film, television and advertising.

Leone has written for all twelve series of Hi-5. Her writing credits also include Play School, Play House Disney and Bambaloo. Leone has produced and directed studio and location stories for Saturday Disney, Disney Channel, and Kids Speak. She is currently writing Giggle and Hoot for the ABC. Leone won an APRA award for the Most Performed Children’s Song, Ready or Not.

Jasmin’s credits include Uno Amore, which won first prize at Tropfest, 1999 and on which she was writer/co-producer. Her project as writer/director, Tongue Tied won third prize at Tropfest, 1998. Other credits are Appetite, (International Melbourne Festival), the short feature Urban Tale (AFC Development Funding) and she was writer/co-creator of the television series Growl, developed by Southern Star/John Edwards/ABC TV.

Jasmin and Leone met at drama school. They are both Borderline Stage Mothers.


Synopsis:
Twinkle twinkle little star, show us who you really are.
Twinkle Twinkle is a dramedy based on the lives of three dysfunctional families, all chasing fame. With driven stage mums urging them on, the young would-be child stars face this toxic industry head on. The kids who can sing, dance and act have the advantage, and their mothers will stop at nothing to live the dream. Chasing fame is a business. Being a ‘triple threat’ is a weapon. But the women, haunted by childhood torment, and battling their own demons, are living proof that love can be cruel.
