  Allanah Zitserman Co-Founder & Festival Director

Allanah is an award-winning screenwriter and producer, as well as the co-founder and Festival Director of the world's biggest festival of Australian films. Her responsibilities include the festival's overall artistic vision and its marketing and sponsorship. She is also managing director of AFS (Australian Film Syndicate) an independent film distribution company.




  Stavros Kazantzidis  Co-Founder & Chief Executive

Stavros has 18 years experience in the screen industry as director, screenwriter and producer. He has made some of Australia’s most outstanding independent films, including AFI winner Russian Doll and the international hit Love and Other Catastrophes.



  Robyn Pinkstone Community Relations & Program Support

Robyn is an Arts graduate with many years of experience in secondary education and curriculum writing. In her role at DFF, she indulges her passions for Australian film, writing and communicating. As a former resident of Dungog, she is involved in community relations and brings local knowledge to the festival team. Robyn has been actively involved with DFF since 2008, having been “blown away” by the success and excitement of the first great Aussie film festival in Dungog in 2007.

    Lisa Ellicott Operations & Logistics Coordinator

Lisa is a Dungog Shire local and has been involved with helping the Dungog Film Festival in one form or another since it began. Lisa graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Environmental Engineering and has developed a passion for event organisation with roles in the Paterson Rural Fire Brigade, Maitland Repertory Society and the Hunter Impro Network. Lisa got her first taste of film as Production Manger on the feature film Bathing Franky.
