Described as “a living treasure of the Australian film industry”, Jim McElroy co-produced The Cars That Ate Paris, the first Australian film to gain international acclaim at Cannes. He produced Picnic at Hanging Rock and The Last Wave, with director Peter Weir, and produced Weir’s first American film, The Year of Living Dangerously.
