4. How Green Is My Film Industry?
Special Presentation and Forum
You may wonder what movies and climate change have in common but recent Hollywood films demonstrate a radical shift in production values. Most films already carry a message that no animals were harmed during filming; now end credits are increasingly being branded with a statement declaring the production Carbon Neutral. Film reviewer Nell Schofield was personally trained by Al Gore, to present his now famous Climate Project slide show as seen in the Oscar winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.” She will deliver this presentation and afterwards host a panel discussion on the implications for the Australian film industry with a guest speakers.
This is a free event after passholders are seated.
