Dungog Visitor Information Centre

Your first port of call is the Dungog Visitor Information Centre which is located right in the town centre, on the corner of Dowling and Brown Streets. The centre is staffed by friendly local people, dedicated to providing you with all the information you could ever possibly need on what to see and do in this magnificent area. You can also make bookings for accommodation through the centre, relieving you from the stress of sorting it out on your own.

Bed and Breakfasts, romantic getaways and country retreats are all possible accommodation options while at Dungog Film Festival. A short drive away, you can stay at some of the areas best tourist destinations, such as the world heritage Barrington Tops or the decadent Hunter Valley wineries.

Home Hosting

A lot of Dungog’s accommodation books up early, so home hosting is a great option for those wishing to stay in town. At only $50 per person per night, you’ll get a private bedroom, tea and coffee. All Home Hosting is in quality, local establishments with friendly families, close to both the theatres and party venues. There are even some empty homes available for lease!

Caravan or Motor homes

There are plenty of options for those who would like to stay in the comfort of their own caravan or motor home while at the Dungog Film Festival.

Slumber Party

Want to be close to the action in town? Several halls are set up in town for accommodation; they all have shower, toilet and kitchenette facilities. Bring along a swag, a mattress and a doona or two and have your own slumber party!

Stay Away

With both Newcastle and Maitland offering many more accommodation options, we have extended our accommodation reach to these areas. Staying here won’t be a hassle, as the Dungog Film Festival has coaches that travel to and from the festival each day.
